九州のへそから、デジタルと手仕事が織りなす、暮らしの彩りを。
大分県竹田市。九州のほぼ真ん中に位置し、「九州のへそ」とも呼ばれる自然豊かな山あいに、私たちの小さなデザインオフィス兼ものづくり工房「ヘソラボ」はあります。「へそ（中心）」から、おもしろい未来を「ラボ（実験）」するように発信していきたい――。そんな心おどる想いを名前に込めて、私たちはこの場所から日々、新しいプロダクトを生み出しています。この土地に流れる豊かな自然の息吹や、歴史ある文化。そこから受けたインスピレーションを大切に、時間をかけて丁寧に、一つひとつの製品と向き合っています。
ヘソラボのものづくりは、テクノロジーと手仕事がやわらかく重なる場所にあります。デジタルならではの精緻な構造と、手の仕事が生む温もり。その両方が美しく調和した、個性的で愛着のわくプロダクトをお届けしています。
私たちが目指すのは、手にした方の暮らしにささやかな彩りを添え、日常のふとした瞬間を特別にすること。私たちのものづくりを象徴する「小さな行灯」シリーズは、心をゆるめる時間に、ただ静かに寄り添うために生まれました。空間を満たすだけではなく、心をととのえる。暮らしのなかに、そんなやさしい余白を。

About Hesolab
From the navel of Kyushu, we bring color to everyday life through digital craft and handwork.
Taketa City, Oita Prefecture. In a nature-rich mountain area located near the center of Kyushu, a place often called the navel of Kyushu, you will find Hesolab, our small design office and making studio. We chose the name with the hope of sharing exciting futures from this center, as a laboratory for experimentation. From this place, we create new products every day. We value the inspiration we receive from the breath of nature and the historic culture that flow through this land, and we take time to face each product carefully.
Hesolab's making lives where technology and handwork gently overlap. The precision of digital structures and the warmth created by hands. We deliver distinctive, lovable products in which both are beautifully balanced.
What we aim for is to add subtle color to the lives of those who hold our work, and to make quiet everyday moments feel special. Our small andon lantern series, a symbol of our making, was born to sit quietly beside moments when the heart softens. Not only filling a space, but also helping the heart settle. A gentle margin within daily life.
